In our world, doctors are
considered as God not only from today but from thousands of years. This is
because doctors have the power to save the life of a person. Not only that they
also possess the power to bring life to this world. Medical science has
progressed so far that are beyond imagination.
But in India, the ratio of doctor to patient is very less. Every year
lakhs of patients die in India due to the lack of treatment. But still
government of India has not progressively increased the number of government
medical college in India in last 30-40 decades. The result is that a number of
eligible candidates cannot become a doctor even if they wish to and eligible
for that. In 2017, 11 lakhs students appeared for National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET) and out of that.11
lakhs students successfully cleared the exam. But do you know the total number
of government medical college in India. As per MCI, there are only 473
medical colleges teaching MBBS in India and there are only 63,920 seats. Can
you imagine what the rest of the student will do who has qualified the NEET
examination? Either they will lose their hope of becoming a doctor or they will
try for the next again to get admission in the government medical college in
India. But the best thing that they can do is to study MBBS in abroad.
MBBS in abroad not only means that you have to pursue MBBS from UK
or US. You can pursue quality medical education even in some countries where
the cost of education is much lower than UK or US. Such countries are Russia,
Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, etc. These are some countries
which provide top-class medical education at a very lost cost. The cost of
living in these countries is also low. So the overall cost of pursuing MBBS
becomes low in these countries. As per the Directory of World Medical School that
are published by World Health Organization (WHO), Russian medical university
occupy almost 30 position among the top 100 best medical universities in the
world. So you can imagine the quality of medical education in Russia.
The
ratio of student to teacher of medical college in countries like Russia,
Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, etc. is 7:1. Thus the medical students
are best taken care of in these countries. Moreover, government of some of
these countries also offers highly subsidized fee for the foreign students. The
most important thing is that unlike UK or USA, the selection procedure of MBBS course in these countries is very
hassle free for foreign students. It is not required to clear any entrance
examination for admission to MBBS in the medical universities of these
countries. Admission is purely based on the marks obtained on 12th
standard. The duration of MBBS course in these countries is 6 years including
one year internship program. The medium of instructions for the foreign
students is English. The greatest advantage of the medical universities of
these countries is that they offer clinical training to their students rather
than theoretical approach. This clinical training helps students to become expert in maintaining rapport with the patients,
taking a comprehensive history from the patient, decision making on the various
options of treatment, etc.
So
students who could not clear NEET or have not got chance in the government
medical college in India should take admission in any these countries to get
quality MBBS degree in abroad. Asia-Pacific
Career Launcher (APCL), New Delhi is
the certified academic partner of many
premier medical institutes in abroad. Students seeking admission in abroad
should contact APCL for direct admission.
