MBBS in Ukraine | MCI approved Universities

When an Indian student does not get a chance in the government medical college in India, he/she has two options left: either to pursue MBBS from private medical college in India or to move to the foreign countries for overseas MBBS.
Ukraine now-a-days has become one of the most loved countries to pursue MBBS in abroad. There are many reasons for that. The costs of studying in the medical universities of Ukraine are not very high. The quality of education is also very high and the Medical universities of Ukraine have all the educational facilities that are required to meet the present day academic challenges. Most of the university campus has every facility for comfort and safety for foreign students. There are libraries, hospitals, gyms, clinics, laboratories, cafe, conference and concert halls, security personnel in almost all university campus. Most of the university organize and hold cultural entertaining events in order to develop the creative potential of students. In most of the medical universities in Ukraine, Indian foods are available. You can have Indian breakfast, Indian Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian items. All types of vegetables, eggs, mutton, chicken and beef are available.
Ukraine is indeed a good place to study MBBS. But before you take admission in Ukraine or in any other countries in abroad, you must assure that the university is approved from Medical Council of India (MCI). This is very important because if the university is not approved then MCI will not allow you to seat for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE). (FMGE) is licensure exam conducted by Medical Council of India (MCI). It is mandatory to clear this exam for all students who have pursued MBBS from foreign countries to practice in India. Thus you must be aware of which university is approved and recognized by MCI.
The following are some premier universities in Ukraine which are both approved and recognized by MCI:
  •         Odessa State Medical University
  •      M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University
  •         Crimea State Medical University
  •         Sumi State Medical University

If you pass out MBBS from any of these universities, you can practice in India just by clearing a screening test. The costs of studying in these universities are not very high. You can pursue MBBS in  Odessa State Medical University at around Rs. 22, 23, 000/-, in M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University at around Rs. 21, 64, 500/-, in Crimea State Medical University at around Rs. 20, 99, 500/- and in Sumi State Medical University at around Rs. 21, 38, 500/-. This means that you can pursue MBBS in Ukraine at lower cost than in Indian private college. That is the reason why most of Indian student choose Ukraine to purse MBBS.
